“Koyo” means “red leaves” in Japanese, but its meaning is actually much broader: it indicates not only the color of autumn leaves but the entire experience of observing and contemplating this spectacle of nature.
Starting with this palette, soft, protective and sustainable materials, ASICS created the Women’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection.
The apparel
Prominent among its garments are the padded sleeve jacket with insulating padding made of sustainable material, and a shell, to keep the body warm.
The focus placed on the other garments is to make it easier to dry from perspiration to avoid chilling of fabrics in contact with the skin: the Mock Neck long-sleeved jersey is lightweight and easy to dry, ideal as a second layer when it is colder or as a single layer when it is sunny. Weather-wise, the Jaquard Run tight is suitable for any run, featuring a high-waisted design and a very soft jaquard fabric.
Shoes
The ASICS fall-winter 2023 collection for Women also includes the GEL-NIMBUS, GEL-KAYANO and NOVABLAST 3 models specifically designed for the female foot. The colors are pink or plum red while the mechanics of the shoe are provided by details such as a different sole height, softer materials, and space TRUSSTIC technology.
